Development Specialists receive an honorarium for each day they work on a given project. HED also covers all expenses for each assignment.
Specifically, Specialists on assignment receive:
- International economy fare travel
- Per-diem and approved related expenses
- $450 per day honorarium
Travel and per-diem expenses are reimbursable upon presentation of approved financial reports. The honorarium is payable upon completion of the appointment and submission of an online final report.
Specific terms for longer-term positions are negotiated on an individual basis.
