The partners developed and launched a pilot entrepreneurship course focused on science, engineering, and technology courses at Cape Technikon (CT). This course and its self-paced modules are available to CT students from targeted academic areas.
The partners incorporated E-Ikamva, an entrepreneurship initiative at CT that works with community members to develop their entrepreneurship skills as they begin micro-enterprises focused on wood work, creating glassware out of recycled bottles, or clothing manufacture and fabric art. Highline Community College (HCC) capstone students in marketing and production design also created a marketing strategy that would distribute E-Ikamva merchandise in Seattle area shops.
