The partnership will develop an innovative program of activities designed to establish a new higher education system in Georgia. The development of the first Georgian community college is in concurrence with European Union schemes mandating workforce and professional education, the USAID-Georgia’s strategic objective of the support of private enterprise, and the broadest strategic reform objectives of the US Embassy. The community college will be accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science and will provide professional education, re-training, and workforce and economic development services. The partnership will establish three new degree programs and graduates will be eligible to join the Georgian University system in the future.
