Sustainable forest management is the focal point of this partnership because these two institutions will develop a master’s level-curriculum that supports the critical issue while also addressing community participation and ecosystem restoration. Master’s level students will participate in a two-year program at MTU and a diplomado program will be developed in sustainable forestry at the partner institutions.
