As HED’s director of reporting and assessment, Dr. Jane Gore is responsible for monitoring partnership activities, assessing impacts, and reporting results to primary funders such as USAID and the Department of State as well as to the American Council on Education.
Dr. Gore has served as a tenured professor at The State University of New York-Plattsburgh, and as an adjunct senior research associate and program evaluator at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Cornell University. Her international work includes Peace Corps Nepal, Fulbright fellowships in India and El Salvador, USAID work in El Salvador, and Self-Help Coordinator at the American Embassy in Botswana. She also was a senior evaluation specialist at Peace Corps/Washington for five years.
Dr. Gore holds a doctorate in human service studies (with a concentration in program evaluation) from Cornell University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois-Urbana.
